Any charity runs on the goodwill of others and Empathy is no exception.

 

Without the support of those that generously give their time to our work, we simply could not do what we do.

 

We always have a variety of roles and any offer of time and support is always appreciated, so please do get in touch if you have some time but don't see anything that quite suits you. Whatever your skill base or experience we welcome you to come on board and support us to change the lives of living with the impact of growing up with a Hidden Difference.

FOR YOUNG PEOPLE; We are experienced in supporting young people with their voluntary hours for Duke Of Edinburgh and Sport leadership awards.

 

THE BOARD; work at a strategic level are always looking for the professional skills to support our work and expansion. The board can co-opt at any time during the year but are equally happy to work with professionals on a one-off or project by project basis if trusteeship is not for you. 

 

REGULAR VOLUNTEERS; We always have room for an extra pair of hands at sessions, behind the scenes or even as a befriender, advisor or family support worker with our brand new EMPOWER project.

You will be fully supported and trained in your role and we are very happy to provide references and supporting evidence to support you to achieve your long-term goals.
